Can I order multie units keyed alike?

Different units with unique lock cylinder to ensure safety, so the same multie units cannot be keyed alike. But we offer a 2-pack with 4 keyed alike keys for certain models. Search with "2 Pack" in store for reference.

Can I order extra keys？ How do I get extra keys?

Please kindly understand that, each lock cylinder will equip with different keys to ensure safety (Regarding Additional Key Requests). Usually we just produce two keys for each lock. If you need extra alike keys, you could go to your local hardware store to copy the original key.

How can I get replacement keys? How and where can I order replacement keys?

We just produce two keys for each lock. Each lock cylinder will equip with different keys to ensure safety. If the original keys are lost, there is no keys can replaced.

After being used or stored for a period of time, the key may become a little difficult to turn, insert, or remove.

When not in use for an extended period, especially outdoors or during winter, they may develop issues affecting their functionality. Clean locks thoroughly before long-term storage to remove dirt and debris. And apply lock-specific lubricant to keyways and moving parts to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation. What is the material of the lock cylinder?

The lock cylinder is made of high quality zinc alloy tubular. Its anti-theft design can resist huge impacts from different kinds of external forces.

What sizes of receivers are these Hitch Locks compatible with? What is the diameter of the Hitch Lock?

RETRUE Hitch Locks are compatible with 2" and 2 1/2" receivers. The width of the RETRUE Pin Lock is 5/8". If you are unsure, please contact our Customer Service for assistance.

Rubber Cap

Do I need to close the rubber cap when not in use?

We recommend that you keep the cap closed. The purpose of the cap is to protect the lock cylinder from corrosion in all types of weather and to keep the lock clean and dirt free.

What do I do if the rubber boot of the locking mechanism won't stay on the lock?

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If this happens to you, please contact us. Customer service staff will solve it for you.

O-ring

What to do if you find that the receiver does not fit？

If you find your receiver don't fit, take some of the O-rings off until the pin is long enough to attach the locking mechanism.

What is the role of the 4 O-rings?

Through these 4 O-rings, allowing you to customize the distance and ensure a snug fit (adjustable from 3 to 3 1/2 inches). No more annoying rattling noises! Just enjoy a smooth, quiet journey ahead.
